Intrusion and extrusion of CVP products

With its different raw materials (fossil, bio-sourced or recycled) and its different manufacturing processes, CVP will accompany you to innovate and support you in your specific developments. You will be able to benefit from a network of qualified partners and CVP's expertise.

Process

Allows finished products with complex shapes to be obtained in a single operation, in a variety of weights ranging from a few grams to several kilograms. The raw material is first mixed (once fluidised after being heated) in a worm screw and then injected into a closed mould.

Injection blow moulding is used for the manufacture of botlles. An injected preform is then pressed by compressed air against the walls of a mould and cooled.

Extrusion is a continuous transformation process of 100% green PE and HDPE.

It consists of introducing the plastic in powder or granular form into a heating cylinder inside which it is pushed by a screw. As it advances, the material softens, compresses and then passes through a die which gives it the desired shape.

Co-extrusion improves this process by adding several layers of material to produce a product that benefits from combined properties.
